In 2014, my brother and I began talking about a part-time business. For several years I was involved with a non-profit group that had concession events throughout the year as fundraisers. We began discussing a concession business. We first started looking for a used trailer and could not find one that would meet our specific needs. In late 2014, after speaking with a company that had some new trailers posted, we decided to have a new custom trailer built. We received the trailer in May 2015. In May 2015 J & J Concessions, LLC was established and we began working fairs, festivals and events. We started out with lemonade, funnel cakes, and corn dogs. Over the past few years we have added additional equipment and additional items to our menu.
We take pride in the quality of the food that we serve and also the cleanliness of our trailer. We clean the trailer from top to bottom after each event.
Our funnel cakes and Oreos are cooked to order so they are served hot and fresh from the fryer. Each serving of our lemonade is hand squeezed from fresh lemons and made to order. We also hand dip our corn dogs.
About our trailer:
We have a 14 x 8 foot trailer that was built new in 2015. The setup area of the trailer is 20×20 which includes the tongue, extended windows and operating area. Power requirements: 220v 50 amps. We also need access to water. We are fully insured and can provide Certificate of Insurance upon request. Our complete menu is listed on the Menu page.
